Though American University lost to Tennessee in the NCAA tournament yesterday, our American University Alumni team beat West Virginia in the first round of our league tournament yesterday. In case you didn't know, I'm playing in a coed league for AU. It's really fun, 32 different universities have teams. The coolest part is that the championship game is played in the Verizon Center....3 games to go :).
Also, for those of you who hadn't heard the news yet, I will be working at a law firm in Salt Lake City this summer! Kirton & McConkie. I'm really excited about it! I should be back in town by the middle of May.
I seriously LOVE March Madness! And this first round weekend is the best sports weekend of the year!! 48 games in 4 days?! So much fun! And even though byu choked yet again, I'm still enjoying watching the other teams battle it out.
Also, speaking of basketball....congratulations to one of my best friends and teammates from high school...Amy Young...who just gave birth to her first baby yesterday...a daughter, Brielle. I am so excited for you!!

Yay Carly! That is great news about your externship. Matt says that Kirton & Mckonkie is a great law firm, and he's excited for you. I bet it will be nice to come home for the summer!
Carly, we're excited you decided on an internship, that will be so great to be by your family. Isn't March Madness fabulous, hopefully your bracket is doing better than mine :)
