Newport, Rhode Island

I was in Boston last weekend and we decided to drive down to Newport, Rhode Island for the afternoon.

It's a coastal town about 1 hr away from Boston and as you can see is absolutely beautiful! We went on this cliff walk along the ocean that takes you past all these huge old mansions. It was pretty cold and the sun was setting making a gorgeous view but next time I'd like to see it in the summer time. And I DO hope there is a next time...it was a very enchanting place.

Charlotte. Glad you had fun in Beantown. I don't want to make you jealous, but while you were in Boston I did manage a little visit across the fifteener to Rose Park. But don't feel bad, Boston sounds cool too. Besides, I'm sure I'll take you window shopping at Hector's Corner Store and then maybe take you to fill up the gas tank at El Tigre someday. Wink.

Hi! I love your pictures, and I love knowing the story behind the lights in Spencer's living room. I thought they looked great. He had them on every night that we were there. Nice touch!

I was going to ask you if I could add your blog to the list on our blog. Just leave me a comment on ours (I did just add new pictures, finally!) and let me know if that's ok. Have a great day!
